Multiverse Interactive Narrative

You are out in the park enjoying a beautiful sunny day. A man approaches you and taps you on the shoulder. He gestures to let him sit down with him. [[You nod and let him sit]] [[You tell him to go away]]

He just blinks and walks away slowly disappearing behind the trees. You decide its time to leave and pack up your stuff and make your way out of the park. As you are leaving you can feel someone watching you. On your way home you are debating on whether to go to the shop or the cafe. [[You decide to go to the shop]] [[You decide to go to the cafe]]

He sits down next to you with crossed legs with his hands in his pockets. He slowly pulls his closed hands out of his pockets and holds them out in front of you gesturing to pick one. [[You pick the left hand]] [[You pick the right hand]] [[You tell him to go away]]

He opens up his left hand and inside it is a small green rock. He hands the rock to you and nods before getting up to leave. He walks away without saying a word. Leaving you there with it in your hand and you debate on whether to keep it or not. [[You put the rock in your pocket]] [[You throw it in a nearby bush]]

You put the crystal in your pocket and think nothing more of it begin the walk home. On your walk home you. You are having a debate with yourself on whether to stop in the shop or go to the cafe. [[You go to the shop]] [[You go to the cafe]]

You begin your walk home. You decide you're going to treat yourself and pop into the nearby chipper Silly Sids. You walk through the door and the place is packed. As you are walking up to the counter you accidentally bump into a woman and she drops her handbag. [[You apologise and make your way up to the counter]] [[You bend down to grab the bag and give it back to her]]

You go to the shop and grab your favourite drink and a snack. You walk up to the cashier to pay. As you are saying thank you and goodbye the cashier stops you. She accidentally printed an extra lotto ticket and instead of throwing it out, she wanted you to have it. You thank her for her generosity. [[You make your way home]]

You go into the cafe and greet the lady at the till. You ask for a caramel flat white and hand her the money to pay for it. She starts clapping and tells you that you are their 1 millionth customer. She proceeds to tell you that as the 1 millionth customer, all your coffees from here on out will be free. She takes your name and a photo of you holding the special 1-in-a-million cup. You decide to head home and relax for the rest of the night. [[You go to bed delighted with yourself]]

The woman starts crying at the top of her lungs about how you just hit her and are trying to flee the scene. This grabs the attention of two Garda in the chipper getting a spot of lunch. You try to plead your case to the Garda but before you know it you are slapped in handcuffs. [[They put you inside the Garda car and are driven to the station]]

The woman begins screaming bloody murder about how you assaulted her and how you were trying to steal her handbag. You freeze staring at her in shock. You feel somebody grab you and slap a pair of handcuffs on you. Turns out two Garda were in the chippy for a bit of lunch. You are dragged out of the chipper towards the Garda car. [[They put you inside the Garda car and are driven to the station]]

They put you in the holding cell. You try to tell them its just a huge misunderstanding and that you just bumped into her by mistake but they wouldn't listen. You spend the whole night in the cell alone. =><== ###Game over. =><= (link: "Restart") [(reload:)]

You get home and decide to order yourself some takeaway for dinner. As you are sitting there waiting for your food to come on you turn on the tv. The news broadcaster is talking about how the person who won the biggest lotto jackpot in history lives in your town. You pull out the ticket in your pocket it and the rock the man gave you falls out. You hold the rock tight as you check your ticket. You won. [[You go to bed delighted with yourself]]

You go into the shop and have a wee look around before you grab your favourite drink and some snacks and make your way to the till. You and the cashier chat for a while before commenting on how big the lotto is and if you'd like to buy a ticket. You politely decline and leave pleased with your purchase. [[You get home]]

You go to the cafe and get yourself your usual caramel flat-white and as you are waiting you are looking at the notice board. You see a photo of a girl holding a 1-in-a-million gold cup. You ask the barista when they had their 1 millionth customer, She excitedly tells you it happened just a half hour ago and that they get free coffee for the rest of their lives. Feeling very envious of that girl and her free coffee. [[You get home]]

After getting home and snuggling up on the couch. You order some food for yourself and are enjoying a spice bag. You turn on the tv and start flicking through the channels. You keep searching as nothing piques your interest, until you catch a glimpse of the news channel. They are showing a photo of your town. Someone in your town just won the biggest jackpot in history and bought the ticket in the shop just down the road from you.
